Support Group

You don't have to figure this out alone

Financial education works better in community. Our support group creates the conditions for honest, productive conversation about money and values.

What the Group Offers

A different kind of financial conversation

Most financial conversations happen in one of two places: with a professional advisor who has specific products to offer, or with friends who may have strong opinions but limited knowledge.

Our support group is something different. It's a structured space for learners to share their progress through the courses, ask questions openly, explore ideas collaboratively, and challenge each other's thinking respectfully.

It's not therapy. It's not advice. It's education through dialogue, which is often more effective than solo study.

How the Group Works

Structure that supports learning

The group has enough structure to be productive and enough flexibility to be genuinely useful. Here's what participation looks like.

Regular Group Sessions

Scheduled meetings where participants discuss a specific module or theme from the course content. Sessions are focused but not rigid — the best insights often come from unexpected directions.

Open Discussion Forum

An ongoing space for questions, observations, and conversation between sessions. Post a question about something you read, share something that clicked, or ask for different perspectives on a concept.

Course-Linked Content

Group discussions are connected to the course curriculum so conversations build on a shared foundation. You're not starting from scratch each time — you're deepening understanding of what you've already studied.

Peer-to-Peer Exchange

Different people bring different professional backgrounds, life experiences, and financial contexts to the group. That diversity enriches the conversations in ways that a single instructor's perspective cannot.

Respectful Ground Rules

The group operates with clear guidelines about respectful engagement. Financial topics can be personal. We maintain a space where people feel comfortable being honest about where they are in their learning journey.

Progress Alongside Others

Seeing others work through the same material and face similar questions normalises the learning process. It's motivating to progress alongside a community rather than in isolation.

Who This is For

For anyone working through the courses

The support group is open to everyone enrolled in Monveranto's courses. You don't need to have completed any particular module to join. You just need to be genuinely engaged with learning about sustainable personal finance.

Participants range from people who are completely new to investing and sustainability concepts to those with professional backgrounds who want to revisit their assumptions. That range is part of what makes the group valuable.

Open to all course participants

No prior experience or qualifications required beyond curiosity.

Online participation

Sessions are conducted online, accessible from wherever you are.

Entirely educational in nature

No financial advice is given or implied. This is a learning community, not a financial consultancy.
